Getting started

How do I create a ChargeNet account for my fleet?

Creating a ChargeNet corporate account is simple and only takes just a few minutes. You’ll need to create your account with the email you want your invoices to go to. To create your account, click the ‘Sign Up’ button, enter your details, and add your credit or debit card; once you’ve signed up, email us at Fleetsupport@charge.net.nz, and we will walk you through our Fleet features and our billing options.

How do I create ChargeNet accounts for my vehicles or staff?

Once your ChargeNet corporate account is set up, you’ll have access to add drivers with their cost centres and vehicle details to your account. These drivers will receive an email inviting them to the account. If you don’t have regular drivers of certain vehicles i.e. you use pool vehicles, we can walk you through how to set this up.

What billing options does ChargeNet offer?

We offer monthly payments via Credit card or direct payment, which option is right for your company, will depend on the size of your fleet. Please reach out via our contact form to get the ball rolling.

What do my staff need to know?

How much does it cost to charge?

The average charging session will cost between $5 and $15 using a rapid or hyper-rapid charging station. These costs may differ depending on what level charger you are using and the size of your battery. If you have a vehicle with a large, or slow battery it will cost more than average. Prices are set at a charging station level and vary across the network. Please refer to the Charge page at app.charge.net.nz or download the ChargeNet app for a full list of current charging rates.

What is an RFID fob and how can I order one?

RFID fobs (radio frequency Identification tags) are plastic discs with a unique identifier chip enclosed linked to your account that enable charging sessions. Sessions activated with your RFID fob are billed directly to your account. The RFID fobs cost between $5.00 and $10.00 each, plus $7.50 shipping per order. Once you have created a ChargeNet account, these can be ordered through your account via the RFID fob tab.

How do I order RFIDs?

Once you have ChargeNet corporate account, the Admin of the account can order RFID fobs via the admin portal tab.
