From the first 50kW fast charger in 2015 to the largest EV charging network in New Zealand, connecting towns and cities nationwide in 2025.
Founded by Steve and Dee West as an ambitious tech start-up, ChargeNet has grown into New Zealand’s first nationwide public EV charging network, with hundreds of charging points from Bluff to Cape Reinga.
September 2025 marked a decade of powering New Zealand’s EV journey. A milestone made possible by the many supporters and partners who helped turn convenient public charging into reality. Here’s what a few of them have to say.
